This seemingly giant time-lapse dolly actually folds up small enough to fit in your bag. That’s some design skills right there.

Every winter, this small town sponsors Frozen Dead Guy Days, an outrageous celebration premised on an honored resident: a deceased and cryogenically-frozen man. Though I took the photo in the summer, this sculpture was created by a local artist for the Winter 2009 event. It certainly suggests the counter culture underpinnings of the town, standing defiant, even as gentrification closes in.
